Do I need Wi-Fi to use Wondika?

Yes. Wondika generates each scene, illustration, and narration in real time, and audio streams from our servers. A stable connection gives the best experience. Brief network drops during an adventure are fine — the app waits and resumes — but Wondika is not an offline app.

What grades and math topics does Wondika cover?

Kindergarten through 5th grade, aligned with Common Core standards: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, measurement, and logic. Difficulty adapts to your child’s pace automatically.

How do I add a kid profile?

From the Parents area, tap 'Add profile,' enter a first name (no last name needed), choose a grade, and you're done. You can add multiple profiles on one account.

How do I switch between my kids?

Tap the profile avatar at the top of the home screen. The active profile's progress and adventures update instantly.

How do I change my child’s grade or adjust difficulty?

From the Parents area → Profile settings. Wondika adjusts difficulty within the chosen grade based on your child's answers, but you can bump a grade up or down anytime.

How do I delete a kid profile or my whole account?

Parents area → Profile settings → Delete profile. We begin deletion immediately and complete it within 30 days. To delete your entire account, email us (see bottom of this page) and we'll confirm within 48 hours.

How much does Wondika cost?

Wondika is a subscription. One plan, three billing terms: $12.99/month, $59.99 every 6 months (about $10/month), or $99.99/year (about $8.33/month). Prices shown in your regional store may differ based on currency and local taxes.

What does the subscription include?

Up to 30 brand-new adventures per month — about one new story every day — with access to every character, every world, and a growing library of storybook keepsakes. Completed storybooks are yours to replay whenever, and replays don't count toward the monthly cap.

Can I try Wondika before subscribing?

Yes. New users get a few free adventures during onboarding, so your child can experience Wondika before you commit. We don't offer a separate free trial on the subscription itself — the onboarding adventures serve the same purpose.

Can I share my subscription across my family’s Apple IDs?

Not at launch. A Wondika subscription is tied to the account that purchased it and isn't shared through iOS Family Sharing or Google Play family library. If you need multiple family accounts, let us know — we track this feedback.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Wondika → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → Subscriptions → Wondika → Cancel. You keep access until the end of your paid period.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are processed by Apple and Google per their store policies. Start at reportaproblem.apple.com (App Store) or play.google.com/store/account → Order history (Play Store). Email us if you'd like us to advocate on your behalf.

How do I restore a purchase after reinstalling?

How does Wondika decide what math to show my child?

Wondika adjusts the difficulty of each problem to your child's current grade and how they answered the problems so far. Right answers nudge the difficulty up; mistakes get gentler follow-ups. No timers, no red X's.

Parents area → Dashboard. You'll see the skills your child has practiced, adventures completed, and time spent playing.

Can my child get stuck on a problem they can’t solve?

No. Wrong answers branch the story — the bridge is too short, the cake isn't sweet enough — they never stop the adventure. Your child always finishes.

How does the parental gate work?

Any action that affects billing, data, or account settings is gated by a math problem only a grown-up can solve. Kids cannot accidentally subscribe, share, or change settings.

Can I set screen-time limits?

A Wondika adventure typically takes under 15 minutes. For hard caps, we recommend iOS Screen Time or Android Family Link — both work seamlessly with Wondika.

Are there ads in Wondika?

No. Never. No ads, no sponsored content, no in-app purchases aimed at kids, no behavioral tracking. Kids see only the story.

Can my child talk to other kids in Wondika?

No. Wondika has no chat, no messaging, no multiplayer, and no social features. Adventures are solo experiences.

How do I report something inappropriate?

If your child sees anything that concerns you — a scene, a line of narration, an illustration — tap 'Report' in the adventure menu, or email us with a description. We review every report and respond within 24 hours.

The audio isn’t playing — what do I try first?

Check your device volume and silent switch. Try closing and reopening Wondika. If the story shows text but no narration, tap the audio icon in the top right to toggle voice-over.

A story is stuck on a loading screen.

Accepted Answer

Check your Wi-Fi. If the screen sits for more than 30 seconds, tap the back arrow and restart the adventure — progress is saved and nothing is lost.

My child’s progress seems to have reset.

This usually means the app signed out. From the Parents area, verify you're logged in with the same Apple or Google account you originally used. If progress is still missing, email us with the kid's profile name and we'll restore it.

The app crashes when I open it.

Force-quit Wondika and reopen. If it keeps crashing, delete and reinstall — your progress is tied to your account, not the device. Still broken? Email us with your device model and OS version.
